Outlet strainers are manufactured from ABS pipe and have slits to prevent coarse detritus & animals passing through to the filter system. They come with an end cap. The sizes quoted are to fit into the relevant tank connector or with use with a PVC straight connector to attach directly to rigid pipe work.
