HabiStat Tortoise Food is formulated with all natural ingredients, including calcium and vitamin D3. This high fibre, low protein and high calcium food should be used as part of a varied and balanced diet with plenty of fresh leaves and plants.

When it comes to turtles, there is a wide variety of species but without a doubt the best known are the Hermanni and Testudo horsfieldii.In the wild, both species come out of hibernation and roam the vast meadows of their habitat. With this in mind we have introduced a new flavor to the HabiStat Tortoise Food range, Meadow Mix, bringing the taste of the meadows found in their natural environment. Feeding Instructions:
Wet to soft and replace daily. Store in a cool, dry place. Food should be offered to young turtles (up to 3 years old) every day and older turtles every other day. Turtles are grazers and will return to whatever food source is provided for them during the day. Don't worry if they don't eat all the food in their first session, but check their daily intake. Make sure that fresh water is always available for the turtle, because contrary to popular belief, a turtle drinks water.
